Spanish in kindergarten at St. Francis de Sales!
September--We focused on learning greetings (hola, ¿còmo estas?--see page for vocabulary lists), colors and numbers.
October--We finished our work with colors and began our work with the Slangman spanish series, reading "Cinderella". This award-winning series takes fairy tales and begins completely in English. As the story progresses, more and more words in spanish are added and repeated so that the student adds and is able to easily remember twenty new vocabulary words per book. We also began work with objects in the classroom (10.14.2009).
